Gettransfer.com is an unethical…

Gettransfer.com is an unethical company! They do not honour their contracts and when you legitimately cancel your reservation months in advance they refuse to refund the money, although no service was rendered. They come up with new rules that was not communicated and the interaction with their staff is highly unprofessional. For your own good, avoid them at all cost.\n\nThey hide behind the clause below in their terms which is unethical and possibly illegal.\n1.3. The Company reserves the right to change or modify this Agreement at any time and in its sole discretion and with no prior notice. A new version of this Agreement shall come into effect when posted on the Site. By continuing to use the Service, the User confirms his acceptance of the revised Agreement. The Company encourages the Users to review the Agreement frequently to ensure that the User understands the terms and conditions that apply when he uses the Service. If the User does not agree to the revised Agreement, the User may not use the Service.

Worst ever is cheating drivers and customers

Left stranded with no support and subsequent broken promises!

My parents were due to return from Antalya on the last flight back with Jet2 from Turkey. We booked the taxi with gettransfer in good time and they awaited the taxi. \n\nWhen the taxi did not arrive 30 minutes after it\u0027s scheduled time, I tried to contact the taxi driver directly who did not speak English and so we ended up communicating by whats app messaging (I assume he was using google translate), which made a panic situation very difficult to deal with. He told me in a very blase manner that my parents taxi was cancelled and he wasn\u0027t going to do anything about it.\n\nI immediately contacted gettransfer.com and they said we need to check and get back to you. In the meantime when I told the taxi driver I was going to give him a very negative review, suddenly his blase attitude changed entirely and became very concerned. Eventually gettransfer.com said there is nothing we can do and you must arrange your own taxi and we will refund you.\n\nWhen my parents returned, we sought refunds and compensation. They initially agreed to the refunds and offered a very small compensation. In the following email, they suddenly said we will pay you absolutely nothing as we have entered force majeure and you can use it as credit for another taxi booking. When we highlighted they are still trading therefore force majeure can\u0027t apply, they simply repeated their original email.\n\nIt has now been over 6 weeks since they put in writing they will refund the money and they still refuse to do so.

Do not ever ( I SAD EVER!! ) book with this company\nI made a quote, i received approx 30 quotes.\n-99% of them were ILLEGALS DRIVERS AND CARS\nHow do i know that? I have a child and i wanted to make sure this service was safe and professional.\nI spoke to a police officer showing those car pictures, showing licence plates, showing company name.\nThey have 1 team focused on stopping those cars, those drivers when they get informed by the regular chauffeur companies ( they are so upset about this illegal people and they tend to inform police when they see this cars around )\nWhat the police do when they find one:\n-Car stopped and confiscated\n-Driver\u0027s licence suspended\n-Fine\n-Clients stranded\n-Clients must pay again service finding new chauffeur company\n\n1% of those offers are ok with trusted chauffeur companies.\nAlways check for a small badge next to licence plate.\nIf you see it in picture they are real chauffeur services\n\nDo not accept the lowest price you get even if you see picture with small chauffeur service badge next to licence plate.\nThey register one fake car and send the illegal one.\nTake the avarage one if you really want to use this company\n\nProfessional, reliable, safe and good services have fair prices\nBased on the airport you are, look on the internet, you will find a lot of local chauffeurs ( real ones ) willing to provide you a professional, safe and realible service.\n\nThanks

It has come to the attention of the Licensing Unit that a significant\nnumber of both Hackney Carriage and Private Hire drivers have signed up\nwith a company known as Gettransfer and that this company is actively\ninvolved in dispatching private hire work across the country directly to\ndrivers. According to their website this company has its registered office\nin Cyprus and operates worldwide. A London telephone number is shown on\nthe website but we are reliably informed that this line is answered abroad\nand does not relate to a physical London office. Gettransfer does not hold\na Private Hire Operator Licence with Manchester City Council.\n\nThis message is to remind Private Hire Drivers that in order for them to\ncarry out a legitimate private hire booking a Private Hire Operator\nlicensed, by Manchester City Council, must be involved in the process.\nThis ensures that the legal requirement for the \u0027trinity\u0027 of licences all\nissued by the same licensing authority i.e Operator, Vehicle and driver,\nis met. If any private hire driver is currently accepting work directly\nfrom Gettransfer.com or any other similar organisation or thinking of\nsigning up, then you will be acting illegally and may be prosecuted for\nboth Licensing and no insurance offences.\n\nWhilst a Hackney Carriage and its driver holding both licences with\nManchester can legitimately accept pre booked work from such companies (as\nthe requirement for a licensed Operator to be involved does not exist), we\nwould encourage drivers to do their research on companies and exercise\ncaution when choosing any such company to work for.\n\nPLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL - THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY.\n\nRegards\n\nTaxi Licensing Team\nManchester City Council
