We had a wonderful experience travelling with Sapsan between Moscow and St Petersburg. We were visitors from South Africa and booked our tickets in advance. It was an easy process and we received electronic tickets we could print prior to our trip. The Rail experience itself was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff that assisted us, clean and comfortable coaches to travel in and great service when purchasing refreshments.\nWe highly recommend this service!

We received a very friendly and welcoming reception on the platform of the Red Arrow 1st class cabins.We were taken to our compartment and given a small fruit platter ,brief explanation of the cabin, breakfast and arrival procedure.The compartment and bathroom was very clean and neat and we received a goody bag with the necessary toiletries.The bedding was crisp clean and we had a very good night sleep.The beds were surprisingly comfortable and with the gentle rhythm of the train we slept like babies.The breakfast was good with a selection of eggs,salmon,fruit, a breadbasket, juices and coffee .It is a pity the trip is so short and would have loved to spend more time on the train.Finally a good ending to this great experience was the courtesy hotel transfer on arrival in St Petersburg.

My experience with booking my train via RussianRails was very pleasent as well as the ride. Starting from a very easy booking phase to very comfortable seats, clean toilets it is a very efficient way of commuting between the cities Moscow and Piter.\nAny time again!

I found the Russianrail website to be supremely helpful and informative. I am a solo traveler and it was very stressful planning my first trip to Russia. With all of different train options offered between Moscow and St. Petersburg, I felt a little overwhelmed. By researching the detailed information on Russianrail.com I was able to decide that the Nevsky Express best suited my needs. It was the perfect experience! I am so happy with my decision. Easy booking to St. Petersburg

We were late in booking our tickets to St. Petersburg and our travel agency said the tickets were sold out. I found RussianRail.com on the Internet and they had a great selection and were easy to use. We don\u0027t speak any Russian, but found the station and the train easily. The train was nice and comfortable and we had a great trip.
