I used this site to buy Sapsan tickets from St Petersburg to Moscow. Tickets were emailed and printed them out. After going through 2 lots of security (into the station then onto the platform) showed tickets and passports to the guard, hopped on train and went to Moscow.\n\nAbsolutely no problems. Was easy to find the train in St P and in Moscow we used the subway to get to our hotel in the centre of town. Again no problems or hassle.\n\nThis site had the option to chose your seats and seemed more reasonably priced than some of the others - so would recommend.

Russian Rail and Tickets for the Trans Siberian Railway.

I reached out to Russian Rail to purchase our Trans Siberian railway tickets. We did the journey from Ulan Ude to St Petersburg in 6 separate legs over the course of two weeks. During the trip planning phase, I used the live train schedules on the Russian Rail website to plan out the train journey - it\u0027s a VERY useful website. Once I had my draft itinerary in hand, I worked with an agent named Alla and gave her the travel dates, the train numbers and carriage classes that I wanted. I had no idea if any of what I was requesting would be possible or not. I left it in her hands to buy the train tickets for us when they were available. There were some very minor changes but otherwise, she was able to buy the tickets as I had wanted. Very smooth process. Payment was also very smooth. Now that I am back from my trip, I can honestly say that Alla did an excellent job getting our train tickets - especially the ones where were rode in kupe class....she made sure we got lower bunks which was much appreciated! We really enjoyed all our train rides! We also used Russian Rail to provide us with the invitation letter that we needed to get our visas. Overall, communication with Russian Rail was very smooth and responses were always very quick! I highly recommend them.

I took your train a week ago. It was a nice experience, the Sapsan starts and arrives in time, booking was quick and response too, the train was utmost clean, we booked in economy class.\nThe train has not a great velocity (around 180 km/h as an average) however double of the Krasnaya Strela I took some years ago, so it was an excellent alternative to the plane, no stress and queues for the controls etc... I highly recommend your services.

Did you ever take the TGV in France or the ICE in Germany? Personally, I do it, always in first class because you are supposed to get more place, a more comfortable seat and less noise from your neighbourgs.\nTo be honest, it\u0027s nothing compared to the SAPSAN (САПСАН) between Moscow and St Petersburg.\nYou have the choice between four classes, from the \u0022high luxury\u0022 to the normal 2nd class.\nPersonally I bought the one just above the normal 2nd class, it was a few Euro more, but really above the first class in France or Germany in term of comfort and service.\nI was pretty surprise, for example, to get a free snack served onboard. I was also agreeably surprised by the comfort of the seat and the space for the legs.\nReally, I highly recommend it and next time I will try the class just above.

For me to come to Russia was and is a very pleasant surprise. Courteous and helpful people and a good sense of security in the cities. The train between Moskov and St. Petersburg was an incredibly good experience. Traveled to participate in the celebration, of the 871th anniversary of Moscow. On the train the people and service were also very helpful and pleasant. And the train was like a dream, almost silent and driving at 219 km / h. Nice and clean. Good selection of food and drink. Would highly recommend it.

Being in a Bullet Train

We, a group of 4 had a \u0027wow\u0027 experience with Russian Rail during our recent trip from Moscow - Saint Petersburg on Aug 4th. It was our first experience being in a bullet train (Sapsan), and we had the most out of it. The entire trip was full of excitement, travelling at a speed at about 250km/hr through different terrains of Russia. It was this excitement that forced us to cancel our flight tickets from SPB to Moscow and opt Sapsan for the second time. We thank Russian Rail for the good job done and the services rendered to us. Appreciate the work ! Hope they will continue to do the same work ahead.
