We visited St Petersburg in July and traveled by train from St Petersburg to Helsinki, returning 10 days later to St Petersburg. I made all arrangements through RussianRail.com, from South Africa, using the Russian Rail website. Everything worked quickly, easily and efficiently and our Russian Rail experience was very positive, from beginning to end.

It was an excellent experience to book for train to moscow through russian rail website. The information were very clear including the option to select the direction of seats. Strongly recommend to anyone who is trying to book for trains in russia.

I booked a trip with Sapsan from Saint Petersburg to Moscow. The reservation in internet was easy and I got fast answer to my reservation. Also my request for changing the bill to my company name going on without any problems and very fast. I booked business class and had very comfortable trip. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The problem with internet connection on my phone solved an engineer from Russian Rail quickly. I enjoyed the time in Sapsan and I can recommend it everyone.

Loved the railway. Super comfy. Had a nice ride.\n\nMeals on board were limited and finished fast. That was only thing wish was better.

Mit der Bahn von St. Petersburg nach Moskau und das in nur 4 Stunden. Pünktliche Abfahrt und Ankunft. Sehr komfortabel, schnell mit ausgezeichneten Service. Incl. eines Essens und einem Reisekid. Besser geht es nicht. Wir würden damit immer wieder fahren. Die fünf Sterne sind mehr als verdient und wir freuen uns sehr auf die nächste Reise mit RussianRail.

We booked the overnight train from Kiev to Moscow. The ticket reservations came through the moment tickets were available online. The customer service aftercare was great. When I had problems collecting the tickets in Kiev (because I had printed out the wrong document) I was able to call their office and get assistance immediately, which helped me resolve the issue. Great service from start to finish.
