I have used RussianRail for six legs of a trip from Vladivostock to Astana and each time the web booking system has been efficient and simple to navigate. Additionally I had occasion to communicate with the office to investigate possibilities and the responses have been immediate and courteous. I only wish that I was able to book my train travel from Kazakhstan onwards with them as the KZ site is hopeless compared to Russianrail. I certainly have no problem in recommending RR.

We needed to get to St Petersburg from Moscow and didn\u0027t want to have to deal with long lines at the airport. It was easy to locate the station, board, and travel to St Petersburg . The staff were wonderful and I would definitely recommend using this mode of transportation and Russian rail lines

Great trip on board of Red Arrow train

Me and my wife spend some time in St Petersburg and then we planned to move to Moscow, \nWe find out that there is a very comfortable train form St Petersburg to Moscow called Red Arrow. As our hotel was on Nevsky Prospect very close to St. Petersburg Moscovsky Railway Station it looked like it is an ideal and romantic way of traveling to Moscow and it was.\nWe booked tickets online, we chose VIP 1st Class (compartment for 2 persons), very friendly website. Whole booking process took just few minutes. We arrived earlier to the station so we went to the business lounge which was just next to the platform from which the train was departing. The lounge itself was very clean and nice, with a free water coffee and tea. \nThe train was amazing, very nice staff dressed in fashionable uniforms. Compartment was very comfortable with comfortable bed, private bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer, free cosmetics bags like in a five-star hotel.\nExcellent food and service, simply it was wonderful trip.\n\nThere is a song played during train departure from St Petersburg - \u0022The Hymn to the Great City\u0022, we missed it because we started choosing meals we want for breakfast which we regret greatly.\nSo, wait with any activity till the train departs, don’t miss the song.

I booked tickets online for trains between Moscow and St. Petersburg for my husband and I on the Nevsky Express. I booked second class tickets. The train was on time both ways. It was a comfortable ride. The compartments were very clean and comfortable. They served sandwiches and water for free. Great service!

Me and my wife booked tickets online from Moscow to St Petersburg and back during June 2019.\nFrom Moscow we travelled 1st class with the NEVSKY EXPRESS to St Petersburg. It was a comfortable trip and all was good - considering that it was much cheaper than the SAPSAN. The compartment was comfortable and service staff were good ( although they could not speak English).\nThen from St Petersburg to Moscow, we travelled with the SAPSAN in Business Class and this was a very enjoyable trip.\nService was excellent and the food was good.\nFinding and boarding the trains were very good in both cases and they were spot-on time.

We booked our tickets from Moscow to St. Petersburg by Sapsan online. It was a smooth user friendly process. The train was on time, comfortable and clean. With adequate baggage space. No problem at all. The staff was polite and courteous. I would recommend all to travel with Russian Rail
