SCAM! DO NOT USE!!

We booked GetTransfer for an airport transfer up the mountain to Les Menuires and thoroughly regretted it!\nOur first party arrived at the airport, and the driver was nowhere to be found and could not be contacted. We rang the office and were continually fobbed off – reaching a different person each time we called and were told they would have to investigate and get back to us, which they never did. We finally got through to the driver (on a Latvian number which was horrendously expensive to call with the multiple attempts) who said he was ‘delayed’ but had not bothered to tell nor us nor the office, and kept telling us ‘just 10 minutes more’. However about 1.5-2 hours later we finally found him and we were on our way.\n\nI generally don’t write reviews, and would not have written this if it had ended there. However we had already made another booking through GetTransfer for another member of our party getting a later flight, arriving around 6 hours later. \n\nOur driver informed us that he was due to collect this person later but due to the delay would not make it, and asked us to talk to the office to tell them. We therefore had to contact the GetTransfer office ourselves to explain and confirm who would be collecting this person (our colleague was flying at the time and unable to do so themselves), but the driver then did not answer his phone when the office called multiple times to confirm, I assume as he didn’t want to have the conversation about why he wouldn’t go - meaning they wouldn’t make any other arrangements. So we had to physically give the driver our phone so GetTransfer would make other arrangements. GetTransfer would then not confirm any further details until about an hour later when they said they didn’t know what to do, and would not be able to take our colleague! This person was arriving at 11:00pm and had no other way to get up the mountain and had no accommodation down the mountain booked.\n\nFinally after multiple phone calls, GetTransfer said they would find another driver to take him but it would be more expensive and insisted on a PayPal payment (in addition to what we had already paid) – not allowing cash, credit card or any other kind of payment – and not letting the driver to go to the airport until we had paid in full and sent them confirmation. We had trouble getting such a payment across (and obviously also shouldn’t have had to have pay), but GetTransfer insisted on using a PayPal link – and not allowing an email address or phone number as localising information which I understand is a common scam. It had got to 11:00pm by this time and so we still had no way of getting our member up the mountain, though GetTransfer still had sent a driver to collect him or even assure he would be collected.\n\nThey are dishonest, disorganised and have a flagrant disregard for any kind of passenger welfare or any kind of commitment they’ve made – and will use a situation to extort more money if it suits them. Without a doubt the worst taxi or airport experience I have ever had -and I can’t discourage you enough from using them.

Fahrer gut, GetTransfer unmöglich

Service seitens des Fahrer gut aber die Firma ist eine Katastrophe - keine Rechnung, weil man angeblich meine ausstellen würde, da der Dienstleister ja die Leistung erbringt. Aber komischerweise zahlt man an GetTransfer.

DO NOT touch GetTransfer, they are completely dodgy and unethical. I booked their service in advance, paid $150 USD in full. Our flight was then slightly delayed from Orlando - San Francisco, of which I notified the driver immediately. It was within the hour that they supposedly allow, but he advised me that he had another job \u0026 couldn’t pick our family of 5 with 7 suitcases up! I requested that another driver be sent, however on arriving 40 mins late, we collected our bags \u0026 were met with no one. Hence we had to arrange \u0026 pay for our own transport. I made contact the next morning with the company \u0026 after 2 more emails, I received a response from Evgeniy a ‘support manager’ who advised me that they would not be refunding my paid transfer despite not providing a service! He advised that I would need to seek compensation from the airline. Flights are delayed every day, I would think that they would offer a better support service and back up drivers rather than just cancelling a service but still taking people’s money! We were there within the hour they allow yet no driver or alternative arrangement was offered, yet they still took our money which I find highly unethical \u0026 will post negative reviews on every social media platform I can find. We were not planning to use their return service as I couldn’t guarantee that they would actually turn up, yet I knew that we’d probably then lose our full $150. The original driver didn’t turn up, another one came in his place, so not sure why this couldn’t have been offered in the first place rather than just cancelling our pick up from the airport. The new driver was very professional \u0026 in other circumstances I would have given him a tip, but considering that half of a fully paid transfer consisting of a total of 17 minutes, ended up costing us $150 USD, I was not parting with another cent! I would never recommend this service to anyone, save your money \u0026 get a taxi!!!

Avoid. Their app is badly design with glitches. \nThey took my money and no one showed up.\nThe customer service replied ‘it will take several days’ to look into it.

Take the money and run..........

j\u0027ai réservé avec Gettransfer.com transport aller retour à paris numéro de réservation №6008109- le transfert a été effectué par un de leur prestataire Helptransfer qui a apparemment se trouve en Afrique du sud. L\u0027aller le chauffeur en retard de plus de 30mn - le retour n\u0027a pas été effectué nous avons dû dans la nuit chercher un autre van pour 7 personnes !!!! nous avons demandé le remboursement qui a après plusieurs messages et plus de 20 jours n\u0027a toujours pas été effectué. Pire encore, je demande une facture, GetTranfer me renvoi vers le transporteur qui me renvoie vers GetTransfer. DONC A CE JOUR PAS DE REMBOURSEMENT NI DE FACTURE. GetTransfer à fuir !!!!!!

Surprised with other passengers in the van

At Kayseri airport in Turkey our driver showed up with a bunch of other passengers in the same vehicle basically taking multiple bookings for the same vehicle.\n\nWe reserved the van on the app as a separate booking and was\nsurprised to see all other groups with us.\n\nI officially complained against this driver and requested a refund which I never received till date. I did not use the transfer and refused to board the vehicle with 5 other passengers and ended up taking a taxi from the airport.\n\nDon’t use this company very unreliable.\n\nCase (Need help #5925292)

A transfer could cost you 160€

I have booked many services with them, but after the last service, I will never use this service again.\n\n If you ever book a transfer, make sure to book a service where the provider really understand their business and take care of the customers. If there is an issue, GetTransfer do not know what happened and they just trust the taxi driver. This will damage you and you will never get your money back.\n\nI booked the service 2 weeks in advance for a relative asking for a driver who could bring a tag name as my relative hadn\u0027t access to mobile network in that country. The service was accepted. But the taxi driver didn\u0027t appear. \n\nMy relative -who didn\u0027t speak the language- after 1.5h waiting was desperated and took another taxi.That taxi cost her 130€ as the taxi driver tricked her. \n\nNow, GetTransfer states that the service was done -with no real proof of the taxi driver- and they do not refund the cost that I paid in advance. \n\nThe total cost of the taxi was 160€ plus a lost of face with my relative.

i wished i would have read the reviews here, i made a reservation for one way Istanbul airport to hotel then immediately i rebooked another reservation for round trip transportation thinking they will refund the one way, well these thieves advised me since its within 48 hours of arrival they dont refund and it does not matter if another reservation was made for the same pickup and destination, so basically i am paying double for one way airport to hotel, what a bunch of crap. i will dispute with credit card company and hope for the best, STAY AWAY from these people
